The Solamander Hydronic Energy Hub (aka the “Hub”) fulfills domestic heating needs by using renewables, lowering running costs and carbon emissions.

Domestic hot water and radiator heating are prioritised over other needs like floor heating, which requires lower temperatures. Sophisticated algorithms control the entire system and enables customised configurations

All elements of the Hub are managed by one controller. It can be connected to a home automation system allowing the homeowner full control of the heat sources for each domestic heat use.

Run long times for each component is captured and data is easily downloaded to monitor energy costs. The program configuration is simple and straightforward and phone support is also available.

The system is supplied with a range of security settings that include safe operating ranges, pressure valve relief, expansion tanks and backflow preventers.
ENERGY USES FOR DOMESTIC HEATING
The Hydronic Energy Hub is an integrated solution that uses multiple renewable energy sources (solar and/or wetbacks) and non-renewable energy sources (electricity and/or gas) for a variety of heating purposes including:
Domestic Hot Water (DHW) – Delivered via a buffer storage tank with a heat exchange coil to transfer energy to the water in the tank.
Pool/Spa Heating – Delivered via a titanium plate heat exchanger to the pool and/or spa.
Hydronic Radiator Heating – Appropriate feed pipe system and zone controls required.
Hydronic Floor Heating – Appropriate feed pipe and manifold systems with zone controls required.
